Alfie's Party
Well Josh went to his best friend Alfie's 4th birthday party at the wacky warehouse. Had a fabulous time, got a bit puffed but still he had a great time.It was lovely to see him playing with all his little friends and enjoying himself. Everytime i looked at him i felt so proud he's achieved so much in his little life and still has alot more to get through, I feel so privileged to be his mum. I love both my children so much.
It's been a while since I have done anything with Joshua's blog but we have done loads it's knowing where to start. Since my last post on his other blog we went on holiday to Turkey and had a fabulous time, Both Megan and Joshua loved flying and were both so excited, Danny and I were both really worried about Josh flying as it was it was the first time the children had flown, Josh coped so well with everything, he seemed to cope better with the heat which really surprised us both.
When we came home Megan went straight back to school and Josh was meant to but they had the dreaded 'swine flu' so it was safer for Josh to stay home. Megan got her sats results which were brilliant considering she was really poorly with flu and a severe case of tonsillitis (1x2a and the rest 3) She left our lady of the angels infant school, wow she is growing up so fast.
We bought a caravan in July and spent some time in it over the summer which was great fun.
September 8th Megan started her new school, she came out all smiles and really enjoyed her first day.On Monday the 14th Josh went into Birmingham childrens hospital for a cardiac catheter, We are both so proud of him as he was so brave the only time he cried was when they tried to put a venflon in his foot and no local anaesthetic had been given. The results from the catheter were excellent everything doing so well and fontan operation in a year (hopefully might push them a a little longer!) .A week late Josh was back in nursery. He has a best friend Alfie who he always talks about. Alfie is a week older than Josh and we are attending his party today.
Can't believe my little man will be 4 next week.
I have put some of Joshua's Baby pictures on as we have just had them put on cd. These pictures were from his first open heart surgery.
